Sebastian Grabowski. // The work is a reflection on the artistrecipient relation. The installation consists of two objects, run by recipient, who interacts with them. The first structure is built with an object placed on the floor, the mat lying on the floor, a camera and monitor. When the recipient lies down on the mat to see what’s in the middle of the object, he sees a picture of himself from the shoulders down. The second structure consists of the stairs, pull up bar and video. When recipient pulls up he sees the face of the artist doing the same work. It is a sarcastic commentary of a situ- ation when recipient entering the gallery with the previously established expectations or waiting for the artist’s movement, expecting from the peace something that is already known to him and doesn’t need any effort to receive (accept).
